NeuCube: Brain-Inspired AI System
KEDRI at AUT developed NeuCube, a brain-inspired spiking neural network (SNN) platform for modelling spatio-temporal data. It is open-source (Matlab/Python) and used in 50+ labs across 25 countries for research, teaching, and industry. Applications include mental health prediction, environmental modelling, finance, and prosthetics. NeuCube provides improved accuracy, interpretability, and data understanding compared to traditional AI.
